These order-specific terms apply to SC11 and SC28E Founder Series reservations purchased directly from Pickens Cycles. They take precedence over any earlier preparation or supplier-commitment cancellation cutoff in our general return policy.
Your $500 deposit
Your $500 deposit reserves your selected model and color and applies toward the full purchase price. Founder Series reservations receive the savings shown on the product page and at checkout. Review your model, color, full price, deposit, shipping, taxes, and payment terms before completing your reservation.
Cancel before shipment for a full deposit refund
You may cancel any time before your trike is handed to the carrier or collected by you for a full refund of your deposit. No preparation, cancellation, or restocking fee applies to that deposit, even if order-specific assembly or parts procurement has begun.
Email rj@pickenscycles.com with your order number and cancellation request. Refunds go to the original payment method; your payment provider may take additional time to post the credit.
Your balance and scheduled shipment
The remaining balance is collected when your trike is ready to ship. Current scheduled shipment dates are March 15, 2027 for the SC11 and March 21, 2027 for the SC28E. Shipment is the date your trike leaves us; delivery time depends on the destination and carrier.
If the production schedule changes, we will contact you with the revised timing and your cancellation options before collecting the remaining balance. We will honor applicable delay-consent and refund requirements.
Development and final specifications
Product pages identify the current specifications and any details still being finalized. The production seat is being refined. The SC28E motor and battery system is undergoing final testing. We will share final production details with reservation holders before collecting the remaining balance.
Delivery or Greenville pickup
Fully assembled freight delivery is $400 per trike to the contiguous 48 states, with the coverage and delivery conditions explained on our Shipping & Delivery page. Complimentary pickup in Greenville, South Carolina is available by appointment. Contact us before reserving if you need help arranging pickup or a shipping quote for another destination.
After shipment
The full deposit refund promise applies to cancellation before shipment or customer collection. After handover, our standard return policy applies. Eligible voluntary stock-trike returns require a request within seven calendar days after receipt and arrival at the authorized return destination within 15 calendar days, unless an extension is agreed. A 20% restocking fee and the shipping costs described in that policy apply to approved voluntary returns.
Nothing in these terms limits remedies for defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied, or misdescribed goods, applicable warranties, or other rights that cannot be excluded.
